Hands

When my mother first gave me this ring for my birthday in December, I put it on my left ring finger and, at some point, switched it over to my right hand ring finger. When I sat, staring at my hands a few days ago trying to remember the reason I switched hands for the ring, I couldn’t come up with anything. I could only imagine my subconscious moved it for me, keeping my “wedding ring finger” open for an engagement ring.

I’m all about great expectations. That’s one of my themes for the year. I’ve journaled about it; prayed about it; talked about it; and expected greatly. But while living in a space of expectation, I think it not wise to put one’s life on hold in the meantime.

My “wedding ring finger” is no longer on hold.
