“Lost Ones”

With truths like “My emancipation don’t fit your equation,” “Consequence is no coincidence,” “You can’t hold God’s people back that long/the chain of Satan wasn’t made that strong” and finally, “Trying to pretend like your word is your bond/but ’til you do right all you do will go wrong,” there’s no wonder the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill had eight singles and garnered the musical virtuoso five Grammys.

Whew! In this moment, this song and its lyrics are all over me. Can you get the Ghost off some un-gospel music?! ‘Cause I think that’s what I have.
